James and Nicola had chosen a purple theme for their special day and wanted to match their formal attire and the modern elegance of the Grosvenor Hotel, Chester with some contemporary wedding flowers. It was an absolute delight to be able to design their floral arrangements and, to meet their requirements, I chose the traditional “Ocean Song” Roses, Freesia and Lisianthus with the more modern “Picasso” Calla Lily. Nicola’s Bouquet was a gorgeous combination of all these flowers. While some table centres were distinctly modern, utilising tall vases with sunken Calla Lilies and wire decorations, others were more traditional posies placed in decorative jam jars.
